Welcome to Mark McCray's wonderful, interactive, and environment saving idea journal!!!
This online journal is a collection of just some of the many ideas (and some would say crazy ideas!) that I have come up with over the past semester here at the always fabulous Bowling Green State University!!!
Most of the following entries are my own ideas, while others are things that I found that I thought were pretty cool and interesting.
Some of these ideas could make money (I think at least a few of them could at least!) while others (like the Text Message Heating Blanket) are probably destined for failure.
But the point of this idea journal is to weed out the bad from the good, and hopefully eventually find one that works!!!
Please remember to look around the website and view the videos as all of them are pretty relevant to the different posts they are included in!!!
Also, please feel free to comment on any of the posts by clicking on the "comments" link directly at the bottom of each thread. You can choose to remain anonymous if you wish (you do not have to have an account created!!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Inspiration From Others
Wonder Pizza has to be one of the greatest inventions in recent history.
What is Wonder Pizza you ask?
It is in fact a robot who will cook you a fresh baked pizza pie in just 90 seconds!!!
The Wonder Pizza machine works just as a traditional vending machine would. You put in your money (cash or credit!) and the robot inside the vending machine does the rest.
Now, I don't see this machine ever replacing Pizza Hut, but I do feel there would be a strong market for it in colleges, corporate business buildings, and airports (among many, many others).
Ever get sick of your ice cubes always melting in your drink because they are square? Well, so was this Japanese engineer/entrepreneur, Nobuaki Kondou and his father.
The ice ball is the first major change in packaged ice technology for years. And it not only has novelty value but it is functional, as well. Traditional cube ice will water down a fine scotch whiskey or premium liquor very quickly, but the crystal clear ice ball overcomes that problemI thought this was a pretty good idea. Until I learned about the best part of the ice ball business. By simply changing the molds on the machine that is used to make the balls, the company can put logos or different designs on the balls depending on their clients needs.
Liquor is poured over the ice ball and settles in the bottom of the glass. As the liquor is sipped, it passes around the ice ball, cooling on the way to the mouth.
The small surface of the ice ball that is in contact with the liquor combined with the especially hard ice itself, means it melts much slower than regular ice cubes.
In addition, the ice ball can be produced in different styles – baseball, basketball, soccer ball etc and can also be produced with a corporate logo firmly embossed on the surface which makes it attractive to hotel chains, clubs, sports bars and so on.
The idea for the ice ball originated in Japan where premium drinks at hotels and upscale bars are extremely expensive. The ice ball addresses the problem of maintaining the integrity of fine liquors and enables customers to savor the taste of their favorite brands.
Think about the last time you were stuck at a train crossing. It may have been awhile since it has happend, but I am sure it wasn't the first time.
This is basically a free taxi cab service that forces the person(s) riding in the cab to watch advertisements of different companies.

Have you ever just wanted to call someone and get straight to their voicemail? Maybe you made a huge mistake and you want to apologize-- just without actually talking to someone.
What a great idea. I personally will be Slydialing a lot now that I have found out about such an awesome idea!!!
That is until people start catching on!!!
I would like to think that I am fairly up-to-date with the latest happenings in our country, but sometimes I feel like I could know more.
I can not even tell you how many times I have wanted pizza, but didn't want to spend the money on buying a whole one.
