Think about the last time you were stuck at a train crossing. It may have been awhile since it has happend, but I am sure it wasn't the first time.
Do you remember how bored you were? Putting the car in park, you realize there is nothing else to do but either count the number of cars or hope for an interesting piece of graffiti to roll by.
Well, Not anymore.
My idea to advertise on train cars would eliminate your boredem and replace it with glorious images of Snicker's bars, Big Mac's, Diet Coke's, and ice-cold Bud Light's!
However, the idea of advertising on the trains is not really the revolutionary idea here. The way it would be done is.
The billboard that would hold the advertisements would be coated with a special spray that stops graffitti in its tracks.
This spray would help keep the billboard free of ugly or offensive graffitti, and would allow rail yard workers an easy way to clean them if they were "tagged".
The train could then easily be fitted with sockets that the billboard attach to. This allows the advertisements to be rotated quickly while at different rail yards.
Now, imagine that you are on your way to an important day at work when you are stopped by a train. As the gates come down, you dreadfully put your car in park and prepare to wait. You start to think how hungry you are and how badly you need to eat breakfast when the first train car with a billboard affixed to it's side comes screeching by. It is a picture of a McMuffin.
Your stomach starts to growl as the next billboard comes hurtling past your car. This one is a delicious picture of a hashbrown.
Your stomach growls even louder as the last billboard flies past you and the gates rise. You guessed it. It's a McCafe Extra Special Double Vanilla Bean Latte.
Wow, you think as the delicious vanilla treat whizzes by.
You put your foot on the brake and shift your car into drive.
You quickly turn on your turn signal as the Golden Arches come into view. You know exactly what you are having for breakfast today.
